Fair and square brehs, we fukked up this game (why was stat nowhere to be seen), Bron did what Bron does.

Hope this close loss wakes us up and we go back to early season intensity and TAKING CARE OF THE DAMN BALL

Damn JR :to:
Thats the problem when you have an aging roster: They start slow, get hot, and wear themselves out. Just look at them boys running down the floor and you'll see they have no energy

I hear you, but apart from Kidd and Stoudemire, the other players in our core (Melo, Shump', JR, Novak, Felton, Chandler) are not old, hell Prigioni hustles most of the time. It's not like we depended on Camby, Sheed K. Thomas and for huge minutes either, even before their injuries.

On various occasions Miami just outran Knicks player trotting back on D or slow to get up after a no-call. I don't mind being beaten because the other team is better, I DO mind being beaten because we're outhustled. Shump wouldn't be bothered diving to the floor for the ball against Bosh, Ray Allen got one or two offensive rebounds, James had two or three dunks on transition when he started running from BEHIND Knicks players trotting back. That just won't cut it, and that's all on us.

But this is where youth will kill "experience"/age tho. I expect Shumpert to outhustle Ray Allen while Ray's experience will help him overcome his lesser hustle.
Stat is not a hustler and relies more on his skill set which is his strength.
Chandler hustles but has a limited skillset.

Over the course of a season those who rely more on energy and dont have much of a skill set will wear out faster

Its kind of fukked up regarding the whole Amare situation. Amare gets hurt, rehabs and when he makes it back he has to learn the bench role. Meanwhile, Shumpert was hurt, rehabbed and got his starting job back. You could credit to it either being the team flowing better without Amare, or even the fact that Amare is a little older and cant take the wear and tear. Either way, there's no reason why a former all-star, max paid player should have to sit on the bench during a critical game with a potential playoff opponent.
