If you go to the big companies like UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, DHL, etc, a person with 5-10 experience are making 100k easily
If you go to a smaller local company, overtime is where they make their money. Most truckers who have 2-3 years experience are making at least 70K
Even over the road. The money isn't bad, can make at least 65K when you drive all over the country. The money is in Dedicated routes, which is for example NY to Ohio, or Albuquerque to Los Angeles. I know many friends on Dedicated routes making 80 to 90k easily
The truckers you probably saw are the ones with less than a year experience, or going over the road with a company that is cheating them, or doing a local route delivering Snapple or some shyt
