That's like saying Kobe's playoff record post-Shaq was pathetic prior to getting Gasol. You're anti-NY and anti-Knicks shtick is illogical. Melo was running up against the Spurs and Lakers in the first round. The only year you can really put on him is probably when they should've beat the Clippers. Last year he ran up against the Celtics BY HIMSELF. Amare and Chauncey were BOTH gone. Look at who he is on the court with. Melo is the reason they're even in the playoffs.

Stoudamire has been average all year. He and Melo can't play together. That's obvious. Amare can't do anything if he's not fed the ball and sucks on defense. What do you want Melo to do? He had a bad shooting night on a night where everyone was shooting poorly before Wade and Bron got hot because he's GASSED. Is Shumpert there to guard Wade? Where is the scoring that allows Melo to go to the bench? Stop it.

It was never questioned if he could score in the 4th quarters of games they're winning going away. It was a question of when the pressure is on. It's been overstated, but not entirely unfair. This isn't the game to use as an example lol.
