Recorded in '94(and completed in early 95), and it was shelved for a year b/c the music execs didnt think it'd sell. smh

Definitely on my short list of GOAT albums.

Oh, and absolutely NOTHING about this album sounds dated, unlike many early-mid 90's R&B albums.

the music execs didnt think his "look" (face/hair) would sell on the front of an album. So that's why they did that.
