The ending is getting a lot of traction.

It sounds worse when you read the transcript, but when you watch the video, you get the context that he said it tongue in cheek.

When these two dudes go at it on the debate stage it's gonna be a lot of fukkery if Biden lets it all hang out:lolbron:

I'm not a black poster, but I saw that thread before this one and I gotta ask, whats with the disparity of thought? I understand it has more activity and has the convo flow of a reddit, but why aren't they hear as well since its just a click away? It is moderated differently over here? Are there hundreds of people banned from this subforum or what?

I don't like Biden at all but he's right.

Voting for Trump is like trying to bleach your skin to become whiter. fukk all that.

However, Biden saying that makes me think he's about to gaffe it up his whole presidency. Republicans will be eating the next 4 years if he wins. Democrats really know how to pick them.

If Biden comes out this energetic and sharp, it’s going to be epic.

Reckless hot takes are rewarded in the other forum.

Explain the disrespect? Keep in mind Trump is an overt white supremacist and racist
Joe Biden as a white person should not be making statements that describe a superficial measure of blackness on any standard. Its backward disrespectful shyt even when done amongst our own people.

Keep in mind this has nothing to do with Trump and his own misconduct

He isn’t wrong though. Why should a black person even CONSIDER voting for a white supremacist over the first black president VP?
It's not about considering voting for a white supremacist. It's about non-black people like Biden thinking they can define blackness even in "jest." That's not his place period.

A non-black person is not of the community, they don't need to be trying to define blackness or using derogatory slang to call someone out for their betrayal of the community (eg. c00n, uncle tom, uncle ruckus, etc). You can call them stupid, ignorant, talk about how those actions are specifically detrimental to the black community, or whatever but taking it to "they're not black" is gross. I'll call vile beings David Clarke and Candace Owens c00ns and much worse. I'm black though, me going at them in that manner is... community policing. You can't police the community if you aren't from it. No matter how "down" you are that isn't your place.

I mean the general you not you, Outlaw, the poster.

No. The statement is straight up ignorant.

You talk as if it would be impossible for Biden to have reaffirmed his black voters without saying something stupid and condescending. But I guess HL is just that much of a fan of "if you dont support x you're y" politics he invoked here.

Gang violence...
Does that article state most black people voted for Biden because of their fear of survival which was your point?

The border electorate like Biden more than the other candidates that ran this primary season period. Actions speak louder than words.
not that one specifically, but these

Why Black voters support Joe Biden - The Boston Globe
"For many Black voters, there is no more important issue than defeating President Trump. As Jimmy, who drove me to the airport, succinctly put it: “If white people catch a cold, Black people catch pneumonia.” A Trump presidency that’s been disastrous for America has been catastrophic for Black people."

Poll: Black Americans' opposition to Trump is pushing them to vote in 2020

"Why it matters: Black voter turnout declined significantly in 2016 nationally and in key swing states, ultimately contributing to Hillary Clinton's loss to Donald Trump. New details from focus groups and polling suggests that the motivation to remove Trump from office is firing up black Americans to head to the polls next November."
"
Black Americans' increased motivation to vote next year stems from an intense opposition to President Trump and a belief that he "has been a disaster for our country, and we need to do everything we can to vote him out," according to the survey.

  • Most respondents said they believe Trump's election has emboldened people with racist views to express them publicly."
