I think Black turnout will be depressed but not specifically because of this. Black Biden supporters will vote and defend him no matter what (just look at this thread). This just gives more reasons for Black people on the anti voting wave to stay home. Too many Biden supporters are gassed and acting like this election is in the bag. Midterms had highest turnout levels since 1970 for a midterm
Depends on where black turnout is depressed. If its in Milwaukee, Detroit, and in Pennsylvania, Biden is screwed.
If its in New York, the mid-atlantic or the west coast... no matter
If its the south, you ain't getting the mythical Georgia... and of course North Carolina is a real toss up.

Of course. A lot of the record turnout in the primaries were in non swing states like SC. VA is still a swing state but it is a swing state that leans Blue. Also the GOP had a good turnout in the primaries considering that Trump didn’t have any real challengers.
I know for a fact that the Trump Campaign are targeting Black male voters in Michigan and other mid Western swing states. Trump is actually more popular with Black voters than he was in 2016, and Black youth is even more anti Democratic Party than 4 years ago. Remember Trump don’t need to get a significant amount of the Black vote. He only need to pill off 2 to 5 percent to make a difference in a swing state. Biden is going to win the popular vote. The electoral college is still going to be a challenge. I think this is a 50/50 election. I honestly can’t call it.
NC has a big gubernatorial election. I don't see black people sitting out, but they may vote third party for pres.
Obama hasn't even started messaging, Biden hasn't picked a VP, and Trump still has plenty of time to continue shytting the bed. We got a long way to go before seeing any sign of a "depressed black vote".
