I was getting hit with a shytload of chipotle ads then I randomly got hit with a few xxx ads.

Yo when you got this ad did you notice another ad disappear? Like was the thin ad thats normally at the top missing?

When you buy a domain name and forum software you pay a 3rd party for storage on thier server, for small sites it's ~$10/month, huge sites may get close to $70/month. It's not expensive to run a forum, not even a little bit. Ad revenue is big. The donations from members could cover data storage costs alone, ad revenue is icing on the cake.
Forum websites are cheap to make and maintain.

$70 a month? Lol, servers and security is thousands a month for this site.

Aight, looks like it takes time for the change to go into effect. I think i know what ad network is serving that ad, so i removed them. I'ma disable that top ad until the change goes into effect.
