$1 Million, 10 Years, Zero Excuses

If you found this blog you’re in luck. You can easily tell the difference between a Job, Career and a business as follows: 1) Job: Trading time for money (Hourly wage or fixed Salary), 2) Career: trading performance for money (Income is primarily from performance. Delivering results.), 3) Business: You have created an establishment that will make money while you sleep (product sales, outsourced work flow)

That summarizes every single position in the world. 80%+ of people will not understand the paragraph above (luckily our blog is targeted to the 20%) and they will continue to trade their time for money. This makes it impossible to become rich and around 33-35 years old they become bitter/jaded as they did not hit their goals.

Motivation is for the Weak

The title says it all. Self doubt is normal. However. The need for motivation is for the unsuccessful. If you know someone who needs to be lifted up *emotionally* to achieve something… He never wanted it in the first place. He’s simply someone who wishes upon a star for the world to give him something he never deserved. Even worse? He thinks the emotional pump up is good for him.

The type of person who gets amped up by written words in a text book or a motivational video will scour the internet far and wide looking for a solution to his problems. It will never come.

He will attend seminars and speaking venues. It will never help him.

He will try to use the same ideas to sell to his peers. It will never work.

He’ll never find his magic product or service to sell. He’ll never succeed even in the slightest because he is unwilling to take risks. Perhaps, if he is lucky, he gets by on a middle class salary of $100K per year. But. He’s never going to accomplish anything meaningful. Period.

Knowing that most people love this type of inspirational nonsense, many, many, many people become rich by transferring this feeling to the masses. As usual, don’t just do the opposite, be the opposite. Use motivation to sell products because people will make purchases when they are in a high emotional state.

Fair warning: these guys are former Wall street. They are not nice. They're writing doesn't leave room for excuses. But if you take a real interest and read their blog I'm confident you'll know what it takes to "make it".

Well considering i'm a powerseller on ebay in less than a year with minimal overhead, running my own shyt, pretty decent

How's yours looking?

Broke college student!

I'm assuming you're dropshipping. I tried that not too long ago and got banned selling counterfeit handbags. Couldn't see myself putting up with it unless I was getting the sweet margins that only crime can provide. Cool to hear that it's working for you though.

By the way, they're former Wall street for a reason. They're right up your alley in truth. They started their own online businesses and try to put people on, all of that. Maybe give the blog a shot sometime breh.

Sweet, how'd you do it?

Through a want to quit my office job, I didn't go to school for business, I went for IT

But it all came down to me not wanting to get up and go on the fukking highway to work and deal with that office bullshyt for 8 hrs

So I was skimming through podcasts and came across this goofy white boy called reazy resells and he was talking about flipping nikes on amazon before they stopped allowing just anybody to do it

He also was speaking on this shyt called tactical arbitrage and oaxray, which are programs that essentially take the legwork out of going to walmart and target and all these places and searching through the clearance racks for products with a strong resell potential on amazon and ebay

Only problem is, these fukking programs are about $100 a month, I mean they work and they give you a week trial free:

Oaxray.com
Tacticalarbitrage.com

It's just they both have a STEEP learning curve on how to source properly for maximum profit

Anyway, I eventually found some other liquidation sites that package shyt up in bulk and sell it at a flat rate that you can resell for a little money

(Ill give yall one, liquidation.com, among MANY other sitea which I will not disclose here)

And I decided to start my own llc and sell on amazon and ebay, and ive been doing this since January and have YET to have a losing month profit wise, slow days, but ain't taken a L in profit and get closer and closer to quitting corporate america

Also check this site, they do give good info and my goal is to one day be able to just ship packages for a living like them, although I don't do the amazon fba shyt:

Thesellingfamily.com

Oh and read this also: eBay Sellers Journey to $100,000 a Month

If I were to give any advice to somebody wanting to start this shyt it'd be this:

1. Get self adhesive print shipping labels for your packages, took me like 4 months to figure this out, all that cutting print paper and taping shyt to boxes was an unnessecary time waster

2. Don't just go for the iphones and shyt, because that market is saturated like a motherfukker and you'll have to price pretty low to get any consistent sales

3. Watchers on ebay don't mean buyers, don't get too excited when you get a watcher on something you sell on ebay

4. Lastly, atleast get a basic ebay store if you're selling on ebay ($20/month with a yearly subscription and you get a free $25 voucher for packaging supplies from ebay every 3 months, which helps tremendously since you can get 100 packing envelopes for $28, which after everything would only cost you 3 bucks

The biggest difference between us is the time and effort you put into getting information and sources.

I popped a few videos from a udemy course, thought I saw an opportunity through ioffer, ran with it and got blown up.

Goes to show that it always pays to do your due diligence. I respect the willingness to share info breh.

Nah, I was a fukking idiot starting out, a whole lot of trial and error

For example, the first thing I tried selling on ebay was those off brand iphone earpods that you can get in the bodega, because i got 100 of them off liquidation.com and figured it'd be an easy flip

WRONG, I didn't realize that everything you sell on eBay must have tracking and that the cheapest usps shipping for any package was 2.61 and that's 1-4 oz packages, add to that you can only sell them shyts for so much and ebay and paypal fees and you are making basically nothing or losing money

So, I just ended up selling them shyts in bulk at once and taking a small loss

Also, another thing now is that im always "on" in that anytime im in a store i got my ebay and amazon seller app open scanning shyt and looking for potential sourcing, even if im out with my family or my girl, it dont stop
