I wanted him on philly but it seems like him going to LA was a lot about relationships. He got relationships to build and/or maintain off the court and in the front office in Los Angeles. Seems like it was partially about transitioning to the next stage in his life
You just guaranteed 3 chips to:
A point guard who has 14 career games and hit 0 jumpers in that time
A shooting guard who hasn't been healthy in a year
A small forward who was benched in the playoffs last year and would probably have to be included in the Kawhi trade anyway
A power forward who is 33yo and has more mileage on him than any player in history
A center who has played 94 career games in 3 seasons
And in a league where Curry-Thompson-Durant-Green-Cousins with a deep bench exists.
I mean, I loved the idea of Bron to the Sixers. But guaranteeing even one championship is ridiculous.
