No i think it was a wash for one reason.....

why was lebron checking the rose's parkers and other perimeter players while wade was there?

thats a job pippen would take

it made no sense to me why lebron the defensive stopper for the front court and the back court

where the hell was bosh and wade during those times:yeshrug: Pippen was a defensive monster as well ran the offense and added offense ...sure wade did some stuff on defense but why was lebron left to chase these little guys around?

Wade was nice but he couldn't fukk with pip on the defensive end and I don't think wade could fukk with prime Pip who was on the 2nd three Peat team. Dude was the second best player in the league during that time. He expanded his range, was a more consistent drivers and shooter. Plus was more mentally tough. Dude would take over games offensively and defensively.

but either way lebron will need/end up guarding the best offensive player on the other team. That should be his duty as the gifted player he is.

No that shouldn't. Normally as a star gets older a younger star is the one who does the heavy lifting.

The team is probably as talented as that 2012 Heat team with actual depth.

I could see JR going into a shooting slump and Kyrie/Love disappearing when the going gets tough. :beli:

You guys are talking about JR defense are letting reputation take priority over actual reality. Jr is a good defender at worse he makes silly fouls from time to time. Kyrie is who you should be more worried about, he is not a great defender and he is responsible for guarding probably the most talented position in the game right now

No doubt, this squad is nice. All the stuff he had to do in Miami he does not need to do in Cleveland. All the rebounding and being the #1 stopper on the perimeter was too much. Not even Jordan was required to do all that when he was winning rings. At this point in his career he needs to conserve his energy and body, he can do that with this squad. The only weakness I see with this squad is the lack of backup PG. Some may say playoff experience too.

If the Heat had the Whiteside they have now and were able to add JR/Shump to their team...Bron would have stayed. Those 3 type of players were what the Heat were missing. A big that can rebound, block shots and run the floor. A back up at the 2/3 spot and a defensive guy on the perimeter. Especially with Wade playing half a season.

All that is true he would have stayed but the long term money and the idea of winning one with the cavs would be a monster for him. Its like he runs that area even more than before.

Plus he can influence others from that area to play for him and with him....plus sign to his agency thats long money also.

Dellanova can score and is a pit bull on Defense he's not as bad a back up PG as people make him out to be.

Yes this team is perfect for LeBron. I mean all the things he had to do in Miami such such as guard the oppositions best player every night, play in the post, essentially be the point guard & help out on the boards. That is if they put all together in playoffs.
