I really don't think it's undercover. One of his best friends in the biz is Pat Patterson? He uses words like "beefcake".. He doesn't want to push guys under 240lbs.
Whether Vince is gay or not, their might be something to his idea of pushing big guys.
You see what's happening now, they've tried pushing a guy that looks like a bowling alley employed dirtbag that couldn't beat half the audience and he's drawn money one night in his entire career, whereas Rock, Austin, Hogan, Brock, and to a lesser extent Cena have drawn consistent money.
Can't lie tho'... that angle of him returning to heel status was incredible.
Adrian Adonis starts callin' him "Hulk Jr." and says he's a follower and he's not what he used to be... Orndorff starts gettin' more aggressive in the ring and starts saying the old Mr. Wonderful is back... Heenan starts mocking Orndorff, Orndorff challenges Studd and Bundy to a tag match... Hogan steps up as Orndorff's partner but Orndorff takes over the interviews... Heenan says he can't depend on Hulk cause he's too big of a star... Orndorff tries to get in contact with Hogan but can't cause Hogan's busy... Tag match happens and Orndorff fukks Hogan up, joins with Heenan, Studd, Bundy, & Adonis... it was all a setup from the jump.
classic storytelling. Just about the only good thing that came out of him turning face.
