This corporate world isn't what it's hyped up to be

This is why I like working for a company with a modern laidback culture... We have a rec room with a pool table, beer, wine, and arcade games.... My boss wore sandals into work today.... When we have clients onsite we have to dress more traditional though...

This... You nikkas just need to work for better companies. My company lets us bring dogs to work, we have cookouts like once a month and a ping pong table in our rec room.

Ive learned that those white people you think are lame and dry know about sports too. One day i was walking past some cubicles and heard some deep NBA talk, stopped by and saw like 3 of my coworkers i swear never touched a basketball in their life. College football is really their thing though, white dudes are really into that, esp. if they from the south.

I'm in the same boat myself Being in Corporate America right after college had me feeling like a boss .. now that shyt is just sucking the life out of me..Yea it pays well, but I really don't enjoy Corporate Finance..I need to get back to the entertainment industry..Being a Jive Records Intern was the most fun I ever had in life..

That's how our office was when I first started working here. For the first 4-5 years we would BBQ every week, wore absolutely anything to work, had a ping pong table and an X-box/360, a big screen TV in the board room that we could work out of when we felt the need. Fat bonuses. Crazy Christmas parties where they'd get us all rooms at a casino and give us a couple hundred to go gambling with.

People brought their dogs and kids in at times. Then we eventually got bought out and the dress code changed, they started cutting expenses. No more bonuses, our holiday parties are a dinner at the office.

Only problem is by the time we were bought up my salary was big enough that it wasn't worth leaving.
