PWInsider is reported that there have been a lot of backstage discusses in WWE during Raw on The Undertaker’s status after WrestleMania. According to the report, the longtime WWE Superstar has been walking around with a great deal of pain, and he was not happy at a recent edition of Raw due to the pain he was dealing with. Per the report, the discussions have indicated that WrestleMania 33 could be The Undertaker’s last match.

Undertaker turned 52 years old yesterday. Due to his recent pain levels, WWE officials have apparently come to the conclusion that 2017 could be it for the Superstar, so he could undergo surgery that would more than likely end his in-ring career.

not really. He just does 1-2 offs a year for major money. He doesnt need it.

What ur describing would be more akin to Ric Flair than Undertaker.

Actually no you're wrong....doing 1 or 2 matches per year doesn't negate the previous posters point...he still the vet who hung on too long ...he just does it one or two times

that's your opinion.

Guys who hang on too long often do it for money.

Taker is doing it more or less b/c he like the business and the money.

Other guys do it not b/c they like the biz, but b/c they need the money.

IMO, if ur character is still good and you can still be entertaining, then I'm ok with a once a year deal from a legend. The fans wanna see it

His motive (money, love, adulation etc) is irrelevant ...he's 53, looks washed, doesn't put up good matches, is wincing in pain after chokeslams, is reportedly in pain and may need surgery....if that isn't hanging on too long I don't know what is....

I'm glad he stayed long enough to make his streak meaningless, but if he was smart he would've retired at either 20-0, when Lesnar beat him, or jobbed to someone outside his buddy list for once at WM29. His legacy is now tainted. :blessed:
