Taker is finished and has been for a while. It's past time for him to hang them up and enjoy the rest of his life with his family. I can imagine it's hard for him to let go after all these years but it's the proper thing to do.

Bullshyt. What gives Taker the right to go out as champ and not have to job, when it's tradition for a guy retiring to do the honors.

He's one of the lowest drawing champions in history who has been part of some of the most garbage angles and matches ever, and he's had to rely on being propped up by some bullshyt streak that was a lucky accident.

What makes Taker special?

Does Kevin Nash no longer exist?

I don't care about the ratings as long as I'm entertained (which Taker doesn't do unless being carried), but I found these parts interesting:
It's just as well the streak came along for The Undertaker to build his legacy upon ... because his title reigns in the 90's were nothing to write home about at all. Undertaker was slotted into the role of Champion more out of circumstance than meritocracy in 1997. Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart were disgracing themselves backstage and Steve Austin still had question marks in the mind of Vince McMahon. Taker was deemed a safe choice to put the belt on for a while, which may also have been a measure to protect the belt with Hart talking to WCW and Michaels having at one point asked for a release. Taker was never really the fan choice as champion. He was McMahon's choice, with buys reflecting this. Undertaker's Wrestlemania 13 main event was the worst performing Mania main event EVER. Coming in at barely 237,000 buys for Wrestlemania 13, Undertaker will forever have the distinction of being the worst draw at a Wrestlemania ever. Amazingly he held the title until Summerslam of that year, despite business arrowing down quicker than a lead weight. The Summerslam buyrate came in at 177,000 buys, again down from the previous year. Taker jobbed to Bret Hart in that match and business improved in the proceeding months. All in all, 1997 was a year to forget for the Deadman.
If only he continued to put over talent other than his jobber/midcarder friends. :smh:

If he loses I don't want see Taker raise or shake his hand. That would be disgusting. If he tries that I want Roman to low blow him and wrap a chair his neck and do a top rope stomp on it so Taker can retire. Even have a stretcher job and Roman over terms it and beats Taker somemore . Maybe a powerbomb into some electrical equipment and that explodes .

And even with that said there have been far worse ones who still get a pass here.

It's not about getting a pass. It's about the way some people act like complete marks for Taker, to the point where they act like he should be treated differently to every wrestler who ever stepped into the ring, when in reality he's never been top tier when it comes to drawing or working.

He's been a great worker for a long time. No one ever said he was a top draw but the Wrestlemania Streak was a top attraction for a long time. You talk some nonsense about people needing to "carry" Undertaker when he's gotten good matches out of Mr. Kennedy, a :flabbynsick: Big Show, and other people who are average in the ring. :childplease:

Neither was Michaels or the Kliq...people worship them. Punk admitted to being a colossal failure on audio...nyggas still in their feelings saying "CM Gawd" on some passive aggressive shyt and even hating Miz today because Punk did in those interviews...true homosexual shyt but Taker is the demon? Lol.

whats funny is how many times its been taker's last run :lolbron:

i do feel like this might be his last match. Its Roman's yard now :demonic: I could also see there being one more match a proper retirement match stipulation

or maybe he reverts to zombie taker and just do chokes, no sell everything, walk very slowly, and punch :ohhh:

if he does that, he'll be around for 10 more years :russ:
