OK I get that the storyline is a bit of a stretch (but to be fair the whole rocky series is a fukkin stretch) but nikkas really telling me they watched that trailer and immediately didn't think "I can't wait for this shyt to come out?"

And @CHICAGO the first Creed had issues too. I was pissed that they made Apollo have an affair and father Adonis with a side chick when they could have just had the wife pregnant at the time he died. It was still dope though.

I think the 2 trailers pretty much tell you whats going to happen, just a guess though:
Movie starts with Adonis beating Ward for the title, goes on streak of wins
Adonis gets cocky, fame, thinks he's indestructible, while pissing off Tessa and Claire Huxtable
Drago Jr., from a different weight class maybe, challenges him out of nowhere
Rocky, Tessa, Claire Huxtable tell Adonis he's not ready to fight Drago Jr., he ignores them, goes into the fight not ready
Adonis fights him, gets beat bad, Rocky throws in towel because he has flashbacks to not throwing in the towel for Apollo
Adonis wakes up in the hospital with Tessa by his side, new lease on life, new baby, etc, maybe Rocky's cancer flairs up again
Adonis ends up fighting Drago Jr. again, beating him this time

Saw the first 30 seconds and had to shut it off. I was sold and didnt wanna see too much
Grew up on and still watch Rocky movies just something special about them no matter how corny and predictable.
Crazy the hating ass era we live in when it comes to reboots and not alot of black actors eating in huge roles that we hate on this.
Hell they are prob even gonna get us to care about Drago
