I'm 26yrs old (soon to be 27) and I would never date an 18, 19, or hell even 20 year old girl. I just feel like we're not compatible I'm a grown man with a man's/adult mentality and listening to a girl that age talk to me about things she like or take interest in would be like talking and listening to a child.
It just wouldn't sit right with me because I desire a woman that's in the same maturity/age range as me or even if she's a little older than me I'd be fine with that because it makes me feel like I'm associating with a woman on the same level (maturity and age) as me.
I believe most of these older men making a stand on 18-19yr old girls are doing it for their own ego to feel young again because they're already past mid-30s.

It’s that the loudest men in the room are basically advocating for treating younger girls like objects they get to “use” before another man and discarding them once they are done. None of these men yelling on the internet are actually scooping up the 22YO and proposing. They are creating the next set of jaded women, and older women are calling it out. Young girls get bombarded at every turn and they are definitely encountering men who have this mindset. We’ve all been there.
