This deserves its own thread: WWE is now a heel territory and its 100% because of HHH

It is weird that a company that went PG exactly 9 years ago ends up catering to hardcore fans who cheer for heels. This is another example of them trying to serve too many masters.

WWE still doesn't know how to make a babyface, they either copy the Daniel Bryan formula which was an accident or make them a diet Cena/Rock.

Fans wanting to turn every wrestler heel is annoying as hell but at the same time I understand it because the babyfaces are just that bad right now.

You have a guy like Seth Rollins and yes he did have a shytty title reign but I'll take that Seth Rollins over the Seth Rollins now because he's gotten bland, for a while Sasha Banks was getting pretty bland as a babyface but she's started to pick it up in the past few weeks.

It was also funny last night seeing Corbin get those heavy boos every time he got some offense in cause they knew what time it was.

Finn Balor, nakamura, RODERICK STRONG, new day, and the hardy's and aj styles are their best babyfaces today. And they only made new day and the hardys and they only got the hardy boys started....

The neckbeards are also to blame for this problem. If the guy comes out of the Indys, the fans automatically love him (see Cesaro). If a guy comes out of WWE Development, they have a hurdle to climb with the fan reactions (see Roman Reigns). Would Cesaro & Roman Reigns be getting the same reactions today if Cesaro came out of developmental & Roman was wrestling in ROH 10 years ago? I don't think so.

Batista had to go through this too. Lucky for Batista, they hid him away on Smackdown during the brand split so he wasn't as shoved down everyone's throat like Cena was.

Nothing new
Babyface champs are boring
What's the fun in watching the protagonist at the top? Nah historically all greatest stories are about an underdog who over comes a greater threat

Ala D Bry finally over coming the authority

WWE is booking like 80s JCP. It makes you wonder if you can build a great baby face in this day and age? Or did the rise, fall, and oversaturation of the anti hero make that impossible? Every face has to "cool" to appeal which usually leads to heel behaviors and mannerisms.

As much as I dislike HHH it's not because of him.

It's because of these marks that wanna blur the lines of what's a heel & what's a face.

The perception that the wwe tries to book wrestlers gets thrown off because of that.

I believe that there's a certain sabotage where Vince wants to teach the audience that only Roman Reigns is worth getting behind. I similarly had this belief about Cena for years.
