did you understand watch you watch???

he played dumbass Ersan in a 30ft 3....

all you nikkas need to see to understand this, is the push off curry did before the shot.

he knew damn well Ersan aint shyt
Ersan hand checked the shyt out of him and then got right up on his shot attempt.

I'm not even sure what point you're trying to make. That ersan is shyt? That Steph isn't as good as whatever? No clue, you just sound angry

That was a circus shot he hit. I'd take him trying to make that shot regularly as a win.

Conventional wisdom no doubt.... but he's made too many circus shots over the last 2.5 seasons..... just randomly picking up his dribble anywhere across mid court while leaning, fading, off balance, etc....

sometimes dude aint gotta set, square his body to the basket or nothing .... his hand/eye coordination must be borderline x man status or something

Everywhere...You never there.
I co sign all of this. Been sayin it for a minute. If I'm coaching I'm also cycling defenders in like it's hockey shifts. That way you can keep a fresh body on him all night. Gonna take a lot of effort but it can be done. That's the blueprint.

Word.

They're sheep man. Not saying you're going to stop the guy but let's get back to basics. .. to fundamentals. these guys playing D like a choreographed dance with Steph.

The answers to defend him can be found in the Coli. These professionals just don't know the gems you dropped in here :mjlol:

It's not so rare ass occurrence to play pick up basketball against dudes who played in the league or college :ld:
IT'S very rare unless you play in what i called an elite city/area where a lot of nba/ex nba players are from that area.

i literally use to play all over L.A. when i was growing up. so i ran into everybody there was to run into.

I was a kid all up in UCLA getting punked by the stronger nba players and stronger D-1 guys.
went home sore everytime. forearms killing me. you have no idea how much these dudes cheat. that was the biggest eye opener. maybe because i prided myself on not being the guy who was a carrying artist with the dribble, or a travelling dude taking that 4th step, or that guy on defense that holds and grabs a lot or the offensive guy thats pushing off and slapping down hands all game long. but thats exactly what these dudes would do to you.

I still remember playing intramurals in college, playing vs some team made up of older dudes who use to play for the school like 6 years prior. they were the first team to ever win it all in that lower division before my school turned D-1 the following year. you would think 'these d-2 dudes is aight but thats about it. NOPE. BALLLERS. i still remember this little super stockey dude. strong as HELL. was shaped like stuckey but wider and shorter. had bounce and quicks like nate robinson but wasnt trying to dunk on you just bully ball at like 5'6. insane.

i was 6'2 thin as hell. weighing in at around a buck 75 soak and wet. i remember midget buff had me in the post. i was like get outta here bruh. i'm about to send your shot into the stands. dude drop stepped i cut if off. he spun back the other way and on his spin he grabbed a part of my Quadracept. like dude intentionally grabbed my muscle and made my right leg go limp. he goes up makes the basket. i couldnt even move. i was like What the hell kind of Tai Chi bs you got going bruh. he started laughing. this is the kind of stuff you will deal with if you ever play professional ball players. they cheat like crazy. they push off like no tomorrow. they travel all the time and you better not call it.

if you ever watch some old kobe clips. notice how often guys are hitting his hand on the follow thru for a no call. thats how use to getting hacked on the jumper these guys are. guys are pushing you in the stomach while you're in mid air. they dont care. thats the level of concentration and physical strength yo have to have in order to survive in the nba or even overseas pros.

i remember playing this one dude that played overseas in instabul. we use to call him the international kobe. had a BADDDDD chick. i mean BADDDD. dude was playing against us in that same intramural league just to stay in shape before his season started again. and he was taking college classes here in the states. then he would leave to go hoop again. dude was like 6'4. long a... arms. like rondo. for no good reason. thin as hell. i remember i had a weight training class in the morning. he would be in there before we got there. and was allowed to use the weight room.

now the 45 plates aint nothing to brag about its what you do when you get on the bench often(assuming you aint a football player, this is everyones normal weight they push up, do their 3 reps of 10 and call it a day).

it wasnt that he was doing the 45's, that was easy for all of us back then that hit those weights. But it was how fast he was throwing them up and how many times he did them.

and everything he did, he was wearing a full weight vest. the bruh was going so fast it looked like he was pushing up the bar by itself. even the football players were impressed. and he was doing like 4 reps of like 20 a piece. yack yack yack. quick as hell. again you couldnt tell he touched a weight room by his look.. the moment we played him(another dude that was dropping 50's in the league). i had to guard this dude. bruh had every move in the world. literally the Euro shorter version of kobe.
dude probably had 25. 10 under his average. and a horrible shooting %, we beat him too. so i accomplish what i sat out to. the problem was after the game. my forearms were darn near numb from all that pushing off he was doing. he was hitting my arms with his forearms. if you know people that are serious about martial arts you know what i'm talking about when i say his arms were solid like a metal bar. thats what the crazy quicky weights were all about. This is what nba dudes be on but worse. steph dont look strong to YOU. but see what happens when you have to deal with him for an extended period of time.

That's good and all but teams don't have the personnel to do this. You can't just keep throwing defensive guards out there, because they need to be able to produce on the offensive end, and not JUST provide offense but equal to one of the best offenses in history.

There's no sheep mentality about it. I question if y'all really understand how good this team is and how they exploit weaknesses in the defense.

currys work ethic, genetics and God given ability are A1. that's why. he's worked hard for this. .. repetition, preparation and order are the foundational blocks for greatness. he's shot these shots thousands of times. most ain't on it like him. it should inspire folks but it seems like it's only inspiring a few. :salute: to the Lakers. . . :snoop:

I'm just glad we get to witness this. Dude was one misstep away from being in a bad situation. Imagine if he had some rockhead coach who didn't give him the green light? We wouldn't be able to witness such greatness. :wow:
