I watched his videos too, when he bought a wrecked/totaled Tesla, sight unseen, and then used it as a parts car for its drivetrain.

If you know how to fix cars (or have basic knowledge of the shyt) its pretty easy to make better than average money doing this.

shyt...there's a lot of money fixing up cars in the $3K - $8K range because so many people buy cars under $10K.

These guys have the capital, time, tools, and know-how to do it. I can do basic repairs that require bolting and unbolting stuff. The hardest part is if the bolts are hard to get to or rusted on. I've done one bondo repair and paint in a small area that got rusted. It turned out semi okay. I wouldn't cally myself a body man. I don't have the tools to get an engine or transmission out. It would be cool to rebuild an engine, or even just replace it myself.

Depreciation of Mercedes-Benz AMGs will ass rape you in the beginning and repair costs will ass rape you after the warranty has ended. I'd love to own one though, no homo. They add all the bells and whistles on AMGs.

nahhh, im not talking about major work.

Im talking about buying cars from folks on FB Marketplace and Craigslist who may need some quick cash, or their car has minor issues.
You can low ball them, clean/fix the car, and sell it for a profit.

You can make $500+ each flip...
...you just have to know which cars are in demand (i.e. People are always looking for Toyota 4 Runners).

These Youtube cats are on a whole different level.

Oh. I see. If you are familiar with a particular make and model and it's known issues which are easily fixed at a low cost. It's kind of hard to find someone who is that dumb and happen upon their circumstance. They usually trade their car in or sell it to Car Max or something like that.
I wouldn't risk it though, the money to buy a broken down car. You never what other issues it has. Let's say you buy a car and all it really needs is a new starter motor. You buy the car, replace the starter, and find out it's got a blown gasket leaking into one of the cylinder and require a new engine.

nahhh breh...it aint that hard.

There are a lot of people making $60K+ (a lot do $100K+) doing this.
You'd be surprised how many people sell their shyt for the low.
A lot of people want cash NOW...and dont want to deal w/ dealerships.

Its a numbers game no doubt...but its for sure doable.
