A lot of these bands ya'll be posting still perform and make music but they perform in smaller venues and do small numbers because the market isn't there. A lot of the R&B groups and artists from the 80's, 90's, 00 still drop albums but ya'll don't buy them or support them.

Neyo, usher, R.Kelly, etc left r&b for a reason.

How many r&b groups do you see on the mainstream level? When's the last time an r&b album sold well without several rap features on it?:dame:

Mainstream r&b is essentially dead. At least for black artists that is.:yeshrug:
