You won't be for long....they are splitting it up even for android. They sent me an email like 2 weeks ago telling me to download the messenger app. This must be an iphone problem...You guys said you have to download a seperate appp just to use messenger. I have a droid and I'm using the regular app just fine. Am I missing something ?
can you elaborate? You won't be for long....they are splitting it up even for android. They sent me an email like 2 weeks ago telling me to download the messenger app.
I was gonna do it but I saw they have access to damn near everything in your phone
When you go to download the app it shows they have access to your contacts, pics, texts, I think wifi info, things like thatcan you elaborate?
that's what I've always doneI said fukk it and uninstaled the app and just pull it up in Chrome now
don't most apps do that though? it probably just allows, when need be, the app to access your pics so you can insert a photo into a message from your gallery, access your contacts/sms for when you are using facebook messenger for SMS, etc. When you go to download the app it shows they have access to your contacts, pics, texts, I think wifi info, things like that

I'm telling you breh, this whole "app" shyt is just a phase. The only thing apps handle that browsers can't (YET) is notifications.I don't even have the facebook app installed on my phone. I just use the browser when I get on there. What's the point of the app when the mobile site basically looks the same and does what I need it to do?

The browsers are the most important things on these damn devices.
There is an ongoing debate between apps and responsive and I am clearly on the responsive side of the argument. It just makes so much more sense than an "app"![]()
