Raleigh by way of Crooklyn
Real estate market in Raleigh and Charlotte is crazy (like everywhere now). Houses getting snatched up before they even get listed. We came up when we sold our house, but we're in an apartment now waiting for our house to be built in Sanford. Been down here 16 years, still got love for the city tho. Got that hood itch, need to make a trip back up top. Wifey been feening to go eat at Flor De Mayo

@Carolina Slim You moving to Sanford? nikka bout to get 30 acres for about 100 racks! :russ::wow:

It's growing out there, I think we're getting in there at the right time. A lot of new construction going up, for people like me who are getting priced out of Raleigh/Durham and even the surrounding areas like Knightdale, Clayton, Fuquay Varina and Holly Springs. Our lot is almost an acre in size, I believe.

I do miss the culture of being in Raleigh and by culture I mean The Triangle. You dont realize the dopeness of basically living in three cities at once until you leave the Triangle. When I lived in Raleigh I spent almost as much time in Durham and chapel hill. And when I lived in Durham, vice versa. It’s just how it is. I love Charlotte but I do miss that aspect of living in Raleigh. And although Charlotte is way bigger it’s countrier than Raleigh or Durham. Countrier geographically(except downtown) and demographically. And I think it’s because of all the South Carolina/small town Georgia transplants. The energy and culture here is like a big ass “small-town USA”.
Not so in Raleigh though, and especially not in Durham()

My second home. I went to school in Durham and was always in Raleigh. A lot of folks with NY & DMV roots. You’ll be straight.

Congrats to the both of y’all. Live it up, breh.

I relocated from Chicago to Nashville about 5 years ago. I am glad that I made that move and I hope that you brehs that made your moves are satisfied as well.

On another note it is kind of weird and satisfying at the same time to realize that a lot of Black people go right back to where their people left. As bad as things used to be there the attraction of our ancestors usually brings us back home.:ehh:
