I just turned 24, and man games just don't do it for me anymore.
I used to be a madden addict(almost failed my last yr of highschool cuz of it), dont play it anymore since 2010(it went all the way to downhill)
I used to love play games in general, but shiet it come to the point that I just open my PS4 to play netflix and still have a bunch of games that I dont feel like finishing.
I got Uncharted 4,FFXV,MGSV,MKX,NBA2k15,FF Type 0-HD,GTA5 preordered but i dont even know if ill be finishing these games although it's a 90% chance I will finish FFXV i bought a fukking ps4 for this shyt
It has not started with the PS4 i felt that I was on my last legs with the ps3 but they announced FFXV for it

But yeah man my interest in games has diminished really bad I mean shyt right now I ain't doing shyt(on vacation currently) but if I had my ps4 near me I would not even open it. shyt I got my PS vita with me with a bunch of games on my 32gb that I bought but I dont even feel like opening it.

Forgot to add that I almost dont have time to play games anymore.
Work and then go work out 6 days a week come back home around 10:30pm and I wake up at 7 to get ready for work. so on top that my interest has dwindled down I just dont have time due to my responsbilities that are going to be increasing. even in my free time I dont want nothing to do with gaming almost

I don't game as much as I used to in the past but I'll play games till my dying day. For me I mostly game on the weekends because gaming is too involved. When I get off work much of the time I'd rather kick back and relax and gaming is something you have to actually do. When you watch TV you aren't doing anything but watching.

The fact of the matter is there aren't any old gamers who grew up on it playing it as a kid. Gaming hasn't been around long enough but while your interest in life may change it's not some right of passage to lose interest in gaming. generations from now people would sound as silly saying they're retiring from gaming as they'd sound now saying they're retiring from movie watching.
