A little off topic, but still related. I noticed a difference about this generation.
I had an appointment today and had to wait in the waiting room. I noticed that the old people talk to eachother even if they don't know eachother. They are much more friendly and have no problem making small talk. They have much better communication skills. There were a few older people who didn't really talk to others. They were just looking around or either sleep.
Younger people these days almost never talk to strangers or make small talk. No greetings or nothing. They are always on their phone and not talking or acknowledging that anyone else is in the room. If you aren't talking either, but you're not on your phone, in their minds, there is something wrong with you.
Forgot to add that if you are younger and do make small talk or greet people, people will think that you are flirting with them.

I admit It's just easier to talk to people online. I wish they would do more research on this.

You can't judge a generation that hasn't even grown yet mentally. Your brains aren't fully developed till your early to mid 20s.
Meanwhile the generations before caused the student debt bubble, the great recession, countless wars, housing bubble, horrible pollution, had worse crime rates etc...

A lot of older non black people even some that are black aren't trying to have conversations with young black men waiting in line at the doctor's office etc.. They have preconceived notions that we can't hold a conversation, won't have a thought or opinion on topics they like to talk about, think we can't relate to them or their opinions, etc.

He was mainly talking about his subscribers. The phenomenon he talked about has been going on since the beginning of time. Your followers, in this instance "subscribers" following you and watching your content until they don't agree with you. Then it's "unsubscribing idiot" "Wow, I liked your content/agreed with you up until now, unsubscribed!" left and right.
