I only ask because Romeo is only a few years younger than us, we're in the same Gen basically. I know this isn't specifically about him and I also agree that entitlement is a problem, I think we gotta be careful about who we put those labels on.

Kids should have room to critique their parents and the fact that their parents have provided for them shouldn't be enough to shield them from critique.

:wow::wow::wow: let's not even talk about the helicopter parents. Growing up, we learned by learning harsh lessons

These parents won't even let Mason walk 2 steps before :damn::damn:

I see it all the time, many are raised by single mothers who are selfish themselves and think something is owed to them, that energy or mindset carries to the child, boy or girl and they grow thinking they are owed something. (not bashing just speaking on stuff we tend to want to not say out loud) It was very rare to see such a thing in the mid 90s or late 90s, early 2000s,, you had your handful of spoiled kids in your class or school, and even those kids weren't arrogant or cocky about having a lot, in fact, some would try and hide it. Nowadays it's like someone has told kids under 18 and grown adults that their parents must/have to give them something. I blame some of it on schools and SM also. Media.

I say mothers because fathers will at times give a child what's needed, fathers are quick to say no, a man have a save mentality, a man with means that I'm speaking of. Women like to give their children things to pacify them, or not make them seem like the 'bad' parent. The shyt is deep rooted in our people's mind.

I remember my father told me, all I need to do is provide you with shelter, food, wisdom/knowledge and clothing, everything else is extra that you may receive.

The shyt is out of hand. Romeo is 30 plus and is clapping back at his dad, like my boy, you haven't started your own thing?? you haven't developed some type of your own business?

Most going against may have not been in a position to where you're around a motherfuker that things you owe them something,

Romeo you're not 12 my boy, get a job shyt is sad man. I see it a lot in the women I talk to, they move as if someone owe them or they are supposed to have to give you, ?? Like, wtf is up with this type of mindset.

Men are the same way, begging/borrowing, which makes me think that they were raised with 1 parent in the house. Somebody owes them. smh, My boy stop pouting.

They say this about every generation of kids. When are y'all just gonna understand that's just kids being kids :francis:
Plus some of these nikkas need to shut the fukk up about parenting anyway.

Every gen before had it easier. I was a latchkey kid, even if I wanted to allow my kids the freedom to not “helicopter” parent I can’t, because for some crazy ass reason the world just decided produce a shyt ton more fukkin weirdos than was ever around when we was youngins :stopitslime:

Also, probably for the first time in history my gen is competing in the same entertainment arenas as these lil jits….me and my chirrun shouldn’t be fighting over the Xbox controller or who has the last round of COD on the damn PlayStation :damn:!!

It’s chaos out here brehs, don’t have no kids :martin::mjlol:

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
This a spin off the Master P/Romeo threads

A lot of us really need to take some courses in parenting before we reproduce. These lil dudes is soft want everything given to them. Yo I didn’t start wearing Jordan’s until I got my first job in high school. I wanted to be fresh in school mom dukes said “Get a job”. Nowadays it’s the opposite the parents work hard to give their kids what they didn’t have. You can’t relive through your kids. My 13 year old nephew get every pair of Jordan that drop. I’m like:why:.You gotta teach kids from an early age to work an earn cuz that’s how you move up in life. Unless they inheriting a company from you. You make them work for everything cuz when they get older they going to find out they ain’t special.

My kids gonna grow up thinking we broke

Every gen says this about the next gen. Next I’m going to hear “ nobody wants to work theses days “

There’s lots of kids who aren’t spoiled and parents are broke. More of those kids than kids who are spoiled and get everything they want .

It’s because their parents are kids as well

U know how many 50,45,40,35 year old nikkas who feel they entitled to everything regardless of price and their own financial situation to even dating options

What do expect from a kid who’s mama walking around with 3 other kids by different men but feel she need a 6 figure nikka

Or a Father who’s 40 years old still out here on some I need a job making $80,000 a year and this nikka a 6th grade dropout and a felony
