Real talk though, this should be the only way you buy a car.

Never, ever.... EVER buy a new car.
I was actually thinking about buying a luxury car sometime down the road...maybe a Audi. I did a web search, and it turns out Audis, after about two years only retain about sixty percent of their value. While thats high for a luxury car, you're paying for premium gas, and maintence. I think this is why theres such a huge used car demand for Audis. A lot of cacs are just throwing their Audi to the dealer after a few years :birdman: Then we pick up their sloppy seconds.

damn who are these people paying $80 for an oil change. I pay $35 dollars :manny:

Well I pay $80, but again, it's only once every 10,000 miles at this point. Whereas most peopel have to get them once every 3-5K miles. How often do you change yours?

I really need to train myself to get into this mind state. I'm almost there, but that bmw keeps calling me. :noah:

What year is your ugly ass Corolla?

:ld:

Dont fall for it, man.

I wanted a Mercedes or a BMW right when I got out of college. The ones I wanted were "cheaper" models, it was prolly gonna be like $33,000-34,000 after everything....then I started looking at those monthly payments and I was like :whoa:

Plus if you get one, realize that every time a warning light comes on that's probably $150 for them just to hook it up to their machine for 30 secs and diagnose the problem.

:birdman: Then we pick up their sloppy seconds.

It's not sloppy seconds breh it's smart shopping.

The house you live in, someone else probably owned before you so why not think the same way with cars. It actually makes WAY more sense with cars, since they depreciate. You can find any car you want, identical to new, only with 10k miles on it for significantly less money. :manny: It's a no brainer, but I'd be lying if I said I hadn't wasted a shyt-ton of money on new cars in my lifetime. Neverrrrr again.

Talkin about how her oil changes cost $175. She was "complaining" about it, but you could tell she was also bragging about it.

I drive a Volkswagen....I made a casual, innocent observation like, "yeah, ur instrument panel looks almost just like mine" (tho honestly, mine is bigger and better.....)

But I guess this upset/offended her, b/c she was like, "yeah, well just take another $20,000 and add it to the price of your car, and then you'll have mine." :smugbiden: And no, she wasn't joking around b/c she's like that.

At that point I was like :snoop::beli:.....

....but since she wanted to go there :mjpls:....I told her "my car and ur car are essentially built on the same frame, go the same speed, your sound system is the same as mine."
And THEN, when we got back to my car, I showed her where underneath my car seats and steering wheel, it says, "made by Audi", with the Audi symbol.

Oh she was MAD.

But she had it coming. :manny:

Not saying VW is better than an Audi, but you get the point.

You sound mad.

I should've clarified. I was just trying to comment on the "the white mans ice is colder" type of thinking.

The thing is, nowadays, cheaper cars have more style than ever before, you can get leather seats, ipod connectors, etc. and great gas mileage....all for around $23,000 depending on the type of car you get.

lol@insinuating VW=Audi

:dead:

It is though. Audi looks nice but they ain't shyt breh. Benz's are made by Mercedes-Benz, Bimmers are made by BMW, audis are made by shytty ass Volkswagen. Go look at an A4 and a Passat an its pretty clear they're the same shytty car.

Wherever whores go.....
:snoop: at some of the "knowledge" being posted here

A few things

Volkswagens makes great cars
But Audis are more expensive for a reason. It dosent mean everyone should buy a Audi over a Volkwagen

They are only second to Toyota as the largest car manufacturer.

They own Porsche not the other way around
