Basic instinct was trash, with a memorable scene.
Then he has shyt like Showgirls and Hollow Man, so yeah, I don't think he is underrated at all. I think he is rated perfectly.

Supposed in Europe he is having a bit of resurgence on the art house shyt. Maybe that's where he should have remained.

Robocop is not only underrated, but it's not appreciated in all the ways it should be. It's actually a fairly clever critique on not only capitalism, but the nature of free will.

The DC of Robocop is even more violent, if you can imagine that. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid. My parents should not have let me watch that lol. I didn’t get the dark humor and satire as a kid.
