LOL that's what happens when you women have a million standards. Dudes feel like they have to lie to get your attention because of the pedestal you put yourselves on. On the other hand he should have tried to find someone who would actually appreciate him in the natural state instead of someone like you.

Let me set the scene for you: I was looking extremely glamorous yesterday evening. My hair was straightened and my make up was on point. You'd swear I was the more attractive sister of Halle Berry. Okay that's an exaggeration but I was still looking mighty fine. That's not a lie! So I'm chilling and waiting for my date. We've spoken nearly every night up until that point. If I'm honest, that was a nuisance because I hate speaking on the phone every single day, but you make an exception during the beginning stage of getting to know someone you like, I guess. Keep in mind I'm a career orientated young lady, so when I give my time to someone, then that means a lot.

Back to the story -- I'm chilling there excited to meet this guy. Now, I did request to FaceTime on multiple occasions, each time he came up with some BS excuse about his camera not working properly. I really wanted to believe him, so I gave him a pass. Not to mention, who agrees to meet you face to face when they're lying about their appearance? Yes, I was skeptical but hopeful at the same time. Now, I won't bore you with the details of how long I spent getting ready, but it was a good amount of time because I thought I was going to meet the love of my life; the apple of my eye. Instead the shortest man alive showed up. I checked his shoes and he was even wearing loafers that had an evident heel to them. On top of that he came in wearing a hat, I guess that was another attempt to gain a few inches. I just sat there mortified. I'm not the tallest woman in the world (about 5ft 6), but here was a man at least 5 ft 3 and he had the audacity to speak to me like he was a man. How can you be a man when you can't even look me straight in the eyes? :scust:

Out of sheer politeness, I stayed for the remaining duration of our date; however, I sat there bewildered for the entire evening contemplating if I should call him out for his devilish tactics :stopitslime: Over the phone, he told me he was roughly 5 ft 8, but he was at least 4 inches shorter than that :francis: His face did look the same, but I still feel I was completely catfished.

How were you Catfished?

At what point did he lie to you?

And how could you tell height from Facetime?

Maybe he felt the force of your scorn at his height, and that was what made him not look you in the eye. You didn't accept him as he was. That can be crushing to anybody.

Real talk: A man with charisma, skills and confidence has it at any height. Sounds more like the chemistry wasn't there as it was online -- which happens -- and you're looking for a reason to blame him. Did he actually say he was Wilt Chamberlain tall?

A Catfish is like the situation with the Morman lesbian sister stealing that Montanan white boy's picture and using it to sext up those seven Morman white girls:

this wasn't a catfish. You just weren't feeling this dude as strongly in person as you did online.

That's harsh, but pretty much.
