The rotations are shyt and he only gets 11-12 minutes a game. Vesley might play 20 minutes and then get no playing time the next game. :manny:

This...

That Kenyon Martin class was :scusthov:

Stromile Swift
Darius Miles
Marcus Fizer
Demarr Johnson

Mateen Cleaves was a lottery pick and Mike Miller won Rookie of the Year

:ohhh::dwillhuh::whoo:

I completely and utterly forgot about this.

And no joke, this is the first time in maybe 4, 5 years I've seen DerMarr Johnson's name.

Not sure that's true. With the amount of games and traveling, not sure how much actual solid practice time you get compared to what you get during the college season.
in college, you have class in the way and then you cannot practice during from end of season till October. Its about 20 hours a week.

It may actually be closer, but in college it is more hands on.

In saying that, college coaching is ridiculously overrated.

Otto's barely even played due to the injury, so I get it. :whoa:

Hands on coaching in the NBA is little to none. Most players say that due to the amount of games played and the fact that many off days are spent travelling that players receive little hands on coaching. Most of the coaching time is spent installing and practicing the coaches system and running specific plays.

It's not hard to miss Otto Porter even if you watch the Wizards. He was out with an injury to start the year off. He's only been back for a few weeks I believe.

And while he was out Martell Webster and Ariza have been balling so Porter ain't gonna see that much playing time until they cool down, which might not even happen.

I'm a wiz fan but damn this nikka Otto porter is horrible

He's not. He's a player who works well in structured systems... he's not a free lance type but he moves well without the ball and clearly has intangibles on the court. He needs to get bigger and get atleast to 220-225 pounds... He looks like he's 185-190 out there on the court and that's too small to play for an SF.

But Otto can shoot and pass and play D. I think he'll be a good glue player.

With that said, the Wizards were probably better off picking Noel or Len due to Nene's injury concerns, Okafor's back injuries from the past, them being 30 years old... and now we have Gortat who is a solid NBA Center but also will be 30 this year and is a FA to be
