Wade's cooked, Bosh's game isn't changing and just when they need to retool, they have to know that LeBron is opting out next summer for more money. Looking around the league now, what veterans can do what someone like Mike Miller has done in spots?

If Rose returns to form and Hibbert continues to progress, the hell that Miami went through this playoffs will seem like a dream compared to what's coming. The Nets are waiting in the wings to make a big move. MIA is finished.

This made me chuckle

I dont expect them to get to the Finals next year (seriously who's made it to 4 straight finals since the 60s? You have to re-tool or experience a down year or two) but I can see them re-tooling on the fly a la 90s Bulls or 2000s Lakers...well best case senario.

Lakers went to 4 straight Finals (2000 - 2004)

This. I think only one team has ever made it to the finals 4 times in a row.

Its very fukking hard to do.

I never genuinely believed the "not 5, not 6, not 7" talk, and I don't think he did either. I mean, Wade would be 35 by number 5. Its not happening.

But yeah, Heat are probably gonna have to retool like they did a little last year. Im not sure how theyll do it, but i believe in Mafioso Riles :blessed:

Mike Miller may be a casulty this off season and I wouldn't blame them. He's been clutch this finals but his contract and back issues probably going to make him the first to go.

I can already see the narrative is gonna be "Yall didn't win 6 or 7 like you said you wanted to so the experiment failed"

not saying the nets are on the cusp, but he owner has proven he's willing to do whatever. if that brings an extra star to brooklyn or prevents one from going to MIA, then it negatively impacts the heat

If the Heat lose this series...I don't see them keeping the Big 3 as is. Lerbon is there to stay--no question, but Wade and Bosh? They are a complete disaster out there minus the blocks that Bosh made at the end. Dwade looks like he's playing in a wheelchair and Bosh is like a shrunken head out there. I don't see how Wade could possibly do another 1-2 seasons of 82 games+3 playoff series runs which include a few game 7s. The dude is basically an amputee. Plus I don't see Ray Allen or Miller staying. Miller is basically a cripple, and RA's time is up--I think their confidence in just how dominant this team is suppose to be is shaken. I think they're gone after this year. And Spo may have to go as well.

I don't think the Heat are finished. In fact, if they get a defensive minded C like Greg Oden, they will be a sick team to watch.

You'd let Mike Miller go before Battier?

It will be hard to get to a 4th straight Finals but not impossible. But I definitely see a scenario where next year the Pacers win in 7 instead of losing. Even now they were only a game winning layup from Bron in game 1 from being in the Finals this year.
