Sadly in the UK we are not seen as black. Somali people are hated on a lot over here :to:. Even our own African brothers/sisters wont accept or see us as one of them. I always get people telling me im not black but "asian" meaning pakistani indian.... i hate it :pacspit:

I'll never understand how other Africans can feel that way. White people will always look at Africans/Blacks that way first before seeing anything else so I don't see why we can't unite on that level. Be it from an African country or in the Diaspora, we're Africans first & foremost.

Why should all africans see each other as brothers? Just because they are on the same continent?

Think about it like this. Why should this ethopian family feel like family to this Senegal family? They have almost no cultural, religious, phenotype similarities other than the fact they are both from the continent of Africa and have dark brown skin.
