She then asked for a date and suggested a nice dinner to which he said “sure you can take me out to dinner”. To which she replied “take you to dinner? isn’t it supposed to be the other way around”

that’s when he went off. I’m not a fan of the emotional response, but one statement he said was 100% correct: Don’t have your hands in my pocket and volunteer my money if you wanted to go out.
