I guess that's Pittsburgh, though it's really outside of the city. And it's fukkin unserious trash.

Fiori's is kinda outside of Pittsburgh too, but it's actually solid.

The best pizza I ever had in Pittsburgh was Rockaway Pizzeria, which got so popular it closed and reopened in a new location. Incredible pizza.

Mineo's is wack. Aiello's is so-so.

Pennsylvania has another pizza style that's an affront to the sense... Altoona style:

I am from Monroeville. Burbs of Pittsburgh. I never heard of this fukkery. Best I had in the Burgh was Vincents on Ardmore Blvd. Originals in Oakland had good pizza too before they closed.

Used to catch Pitt basketball games and then head to the O for pizza and fries

Altoona pizza is a fukkin travesty :scust:

Next time I head back home to visit my folks I need to try Rockaway Pizza

In Monroeville our go to spot was Papa Rocks. I literally grew up on that pizza. When I moved back to monroeville for a couple of years during Covid to help my parents out I went back to Papa Rocks. It was like I never left. Pizza was exactly the same. fukking flames

Not all PA pizza is equal. I've had pizza like that and I didn't hate it, but...no. it's not ranking or representative of anything I've seen in PA, or anywhere. Lmao.

Vincent's is in Braddock, right? Never went but heard about it.

Never had a lot of reasons to go to Monroeville, but went with an ex to that Italian bakery out there once, Moio's.

Rockaway got too popular because that barstool dikkhead gave it a strong review, so from what I understand it sells out mad fast and if you call in an order there's a crazy wait. But when I had it, it was undeniable.

Vincent's Pizza Park. It’s off of Ardmore Blvd. I don’t think that is considered Braddock. I could be wrong. My sense of direction in Pittsburgh is all off. I have been away too long Back in the 90’s the old man Vincent was actually back there cooking. It was his recipe. He would be back in the kitchen cussing up a storm but the pizza was crack. After he left the restaurants to his sons the quality went down a bit but they turned it around.

Hell I remember during the Steelers last Super Bowl run when we played the Packers I absolutely had to have a Vincent’s pie for the game. On a whim I called them and said how much to ship me a pie to Florida. They told me they ship 40 pies a week to different Florida Steelers clubs. I was :dead: I basically only had to pay shipping and a lil extra and they shipped an authentic Vincent’s pie to my door the morning of the Super Bowl. I was flabbergasted.

Sadly I was eating the pizza with :mjcry: cause we took that L

Yup I know that Italian bakery well. Been there for a long time. Ordered my pops a custom cake there for his birthday

I’m def going to give Rockaway a try when I go back home. I’m a sucker for a good pizza
