My issue isn't the discipline but in the matter of how it was done, this is the same as public whipping a slaves in front of the public. It's more a goal to shame the child rather than to teach them right from wrong. Tell how can this help her become a better woman when she's gonna be teased and ridiculed by her peers? Not to mention the fact that youre beating your child for not having values that you as her parent or guardian should have installed in her makes it worst.

You have some fair points, but I never said cacs beat their kids. Its the exact opposite... Most other cultures do. I think I understand what you mean. It is the fact that it was made public that is why it is wrong. That's a very fair point but we shouldn't equate it to being slaves. Some people just don't know the correct way to raise a child.
