highly disagree with this....ive had the s2/s3/note4/ and the S5 right now....the s5 performs MUCH better than the g3 let alone the gs2...yall dudes be killing me when i read things like this....it just shows people either dont remember how well phones performed when they had it....or just straight up lie to support their purchase lol smh.
Htc one is definately fast when it comes to opening up apps...ill give it that. Its a little more snappier when it comes to that specific thing in comparison to my s5...overrall though..they are BOTH fast imo. Where the htc one gets smashed though is CAMERA.....SCREEN...and sd card slot storage and battery....both perform smooth and get the job done in many areas.
Also a small thing i noticed...the default web browser on the s5 has better touch to scroll performance.
Wont lie though...before i even tried the s5 i was all in about to cop a htc until i realized the camera wasnt where i needed it to be.
See, youre wrong too many times in this paragraph.
1. The S2 with regards to opening apps and switching between them was much better. The S2 was the last Galaxy not to have every feature in the book thrown at it. It was a superbly fast and SMOOTH phone. (The Exynos version) The S2 performs everyday tasks better than the S3 as well. (QUALCOMM version)
2. The HTC has a SD card slot and comes with 32GB onboard vs the paltry 16 of the S5
3. The battery life of this One is better than the S5. This is signified by the times where the S5 was often hot to the touch, yet this has not happened on the One. Also, I usually have to charge the S5 twice a day depending on how much ive used it. The One? Not so much
4. The S5 had HORRID touch scroll performance. I was extra sensitive to this due to the fact that I came from the 5S, which has the best touchscreen latency of all smartphones (or among the best). This is one of the main things that turned me off the phone. Why the hell is the phone quad core and still lagging sometimes when I scroll? Also, when I say lag, I mean the response time between swiping and the scroll action taking place.
5. The screen is relative. That shyt is too big to me. It does have awesome colors though
