Probably the worst feeling I ever got, when I learned more about it. The people in the top floors of the first building, had no way out because of the plane. I mean at least with the guy, if the buildings didn't fall completely he would have been saved if the fires went out. With the people in the floors above the hit, there were ZERO stairways. Most likely the structure would have fallen over to the side of the impact in hours even if the fires stopped. Most of them were probably dead 10-20 mins before the towers fell because of the smoke.

My wish when I see that shyt always, is that I hoped they were not aware at the time and were already dead. Just because you have be pretty sick in the head to inflict suffering on people.

Well I don't it was that, but it was like. "I don't think we will reach him in time before he dies of smoke."

And at the time you know some firefighters were thinking, "Could this building fall on us?" and as a operator your suppose to keep your cool. But I would imagine it be hard for some of them to say, "Help is on the way." because you knew that most were going to die from smoke. Then when the building fell, how could you say help was on the way for the other building when the 1st building that fell was the 2nd one hit.

Its stuff that gets me. Last second decisions. I mean can you live with a decision to leave someone behind to save yourself? The building is about to fall in 10 mins, and two flights of stairs with a man with a broken ankle and 300lbs. You can easily save yourself, but with the man... choices.

Man I was in the 8th grade when this happened. Everything seemed like a regular school day had no clue. In my 6th period Music appreciation class we walked in and the teacher had the radio on for some reason...thought it was some play or something didnt pay much attention to it just took a nap. Now that I think about it the teacher aint say a single word to us the entire class...

Finally in the next class the teacher told us some details of what happened and I still didnt get it or understand the situation. Didnt know the whole terror aspect of it or the buildings collapse, I just wonder how and why the planes crashed into the buildings.

Got home finally to turned on the TV to watch Toonami and they had the news on...was kinda pissed ... but just watched and learned what happened

I know for a fact people are still getting on planes all the time with those boxcutting knives that tuck into the key
