As long as teacher pay is shyt people like this are who we will get.

In the public sector at least.

I wanted to see the deleted tweets.

She posted selfies, her during a night out and emails from kids. The last one was scary because they're sixth graders and it's obvious they're not being taught how to write/type.

EDIT: She also tweeted how she had all the smoke for anyone that came at her students.

Where else they should be to make a living? :dwillhuh:

She might be more successful in a career where she can use some of her other talents, whatever they may be.

It seems when people are led by money first overall when entering an career based on serving others - practicing medicine, working with elderly, disabled or mentally incapacitated or, like we see here, teaching children - there is always a potential for some sort of foolishness or abuse.

Clearly stated, teaching doesn't really pay enough to make it that attractive, and having a degree doesn't necessarily qualify one to be an effective teacher. If one isn't led to teach kids from a deeper purpose as well, it's probably not a good idea to do it.

Imagine finding out the lady or gentleman who is teaching your kids up to 8 hours a day is mostly there just to collect a paycheque. It's frightening.

@Vae Victis The go to cac response and neg. Was wondering what took so long. If you saw what some of us saw, you wouldn't want them teaching your kid. You can take that how you want it.

Imagine? :dahell:

That's the reality of it in most public schools. At least the ones I went to.

Fred.
