Like what, you want 12-13% of the population of the country to raise up in armed rebellion?
Like we literally doing the exact thing we should do and putting people in positions of power, but now suddenly those positions don't hold power? Even though, were it a bunch of cacs in these spots, you'd be ranting on how "THEY CONTROL EVERYTHING"?

This is very true, it’s cyclical. However, the GOP might be more damagimed than usual after this administration. It’s possible for the dems to spin this into a longer run of dominance for themselves.This happens every few years though. It goes back and forth. People get fed up with Dems and GOP cleans house a few years later every one's tired of them and votes back in Dems. Same reason next president will be Dem(unless it's Bernie ) then back to GOP right after. Both parties are corrupt in my book

meh they're one in the same. They differ on a few social issues(abortion, net neutrality, climate, etc) and while those are big deals in the grand scheme they're bought and paid for by the same people.
Obama pushed the ACA (Aka Romneycare) not single payer or even a public option.
In terms of war they're again one in the same. Many Dems voted for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and Obama took us from just bombing those countries to bombing Syria, libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan. As we speak the us military industrial complex is running bombing campaigns in all 7 of those countries a carry over of the previous admin. I fear this admin may add Iran and/or NK to that list. Dems and reps have hard on for war.
We need to dump this duopoly People are tired of the "lesser of two evils" hence the continue infighting between the establishment and the progressive wing of the DNC. Many incumbent Dems are being primaried by progressives in 2018

This is my question....I wanna see some raw dog legislation introduced in some of these states. Legal weed, housing/tax reform, state level gun control, special prosecutors for police shootings etc.

What does yesterday's Democrat victories mean for black people? Does it lessen the chance of an unarmed black in Virginia getting shot dead by a police officer during a routine traffic stop? Does it mean black college graduates in Virginia are going to face a race-neutral job market that will appreciate their talents and hire them? Black people still haven't learned that these Democratic "wins" mean nothing for the black community. Too many of us are still dancing to symbolic victories, hoping their white mommy and daddy will let them sit at the table.
