I used to really like Anthony Bourdain.
And I really do like his book, Kitchen Confidential.
But while he does come across as a down to earth guy, there's a certain smugness about him that sometimes gets on my nerves.

At the very least, he's aware that he is lucky to be living a privileged life. And many people in his circle aren't quite too fast to admit that.
