How old are you? Snoop used to write for dre, he wrote for dre at least up to the chronic 2001 album.

Damn near 30 and yes he did write for Dre sometimes but he had people writing for him too...he wrote his most during the Chronic and Doggystyle era but even then DOC had to help that nikka a lot ..both him and Dre...snoop is mostly a freestyle rapper...and as far as him writing for Dre up until the Chronic 2001 snoop didnt even really link back up with Dre till around that time specifically the No Limit Top Dogg album...

Snoop wrote for dre on chronic 2001. They fell out for a couple years before that but when they got back together it was business as usual. As for the DOC stuff that's a rumor may be true may not be. But that still doesn't take away the fact that snoop writes his own music, he admitted to not writing ego trippin, anything beyond that is speculation.

The DOC stuff isn't a rumour, Snoop has admitted on multiple occasions that DOC would help him to structure verses, change words around etc. Snoop has been using ghost writers for the longest, I'm sure he has input but he's always used ghost writers here and there. He uses the same school of thought as Dre, having a dope ass team and making the best product.

Giving advice and pointers on a verse isn't the same as ghostwriting. Most rappers have their homies in the studio with them giving advice, or a hook, concept, etc. Snoop was just real enough to admit it

Just was bumpin HHID and heard this, have mixed feelings about this track...Snoop and Nas should have been classic, at least they finally got on a song together:yeshrug:

Dope song. I would've preferred Nas on the track by himself. Snoop was dope on it but I like Nas on his dopest tracks by himself.
