The general populace doesn't want more war in the Middle East?

Americans don't heavily rely on cars for transportation?

America isn't on a path towards energy independence?

Worst poster on this site by far.

The General Populace wants alot of things, not just dealing with war.

Most People in large cities don't drive. They used other transportation needs.

America isn't on the path towards energy independence because it doesn't want to give up Oil. Oil in other nations and at home. It has a chance to get past 120 year old mentality and go the way Tesla has gone with cars and they can do the same with other transportation. shyt we have been using electricity for trains for years.

I don't even know what you're trying to say with that first statement. The citizenry's response to a potential conflict in Syria was quite indicative of how the country feels about any more war going forward.

On a per capita basis, Americans consume a ridiculous amount of energy and have the 3rd largest amount of vehicles per capita, behind San Marino and Monaco. It would be impossible to make the argument that we don't have much of an appetite for crude.

Either you don't know what the term energy independence means (which wouldn't shock me) or you are not aware that domestic production is booming and imports are falling are a steady rate. You don't trust economists though and prefer to make up your own figures, so there really isn't much point to discussing this further.

1.Citizenry knew it was pointless and would create problems down the line. It only postponed WW3, US is still arming the ISIS and AL-Q.

2. This is 2014 and the alternative technology has been out for over a decade or more to lose the oil and find worth harmless to the environment and people's living conditions.

3. Sadly your viewpoint doesn't follow history and what it has shown you about Oil. There will be no energy independence because history has proven greedy men don't get enough. I don't expect you to realize it but the future will predict the outcome and you will be wrong.

1. Convenient explanation. Has nothing to do with the public being tired of war? OK then, friend.

2. Yes, I would love to ditch oil, gas, coal, etc.. This doesn't change the fact that this can't happen overnight.

3. You don't know what the term energy independence means. You're being thick on purpose. Yes, oil companies are greedy. What a revelation!

What the fukk is so difficult to understand about this?

I'm not participating in the ruination of another thread with you. Carry on.

1. You don't know why they are tired of war, you clearly aren't paying attention.

2. This excuse of "Can't happen overnight" is the very reason people can't think on their own. The technology is out there and has been out there. Oil companies refuse to give up on the oil product and electric cars are being punished for it because profit is more important than moving forward in energy independence.

3. Apparently you keep bringing up energy independence when history has shown, U.S. had that over 120 years ago and the greedy men ruined it.

All end my point with Nikola Tesla.

I guess he doesn't know what energy independence means either cause he hasn't come back since.
:snooze:

Worst poster on this forum. Its shocking this has to be explained to you. For the last time, its not independence from oil but whether we are either a net importer or exporter of energy.

So you respond a day later with no info but insults. This is why I don't debate small fries, you can't try to challenge me in anything by claiming you know something so well but can't bring the information forward.

You don't know anything about "Energy independence" you just like talking like you do. History has already proven that has happened but doesn't last long with greedy rich people. Nice try.
