Look at these peeps

when i was a kid i used to get blank cassettes and tape songs i liked off the radio so i could listen to them whenever i wanted

you didnt do that? i got into tech around the end of the floppy disk era so i still remember how to use all that stuff. burning my first CD-R in the computer lab was an EXPERIENCE lol
the early versions you had to be quiet or leave the room because the recorder would pick up all sound.pretty sure its a skit but it was starting to piss me off
shyt wasnt THAT hard to use. when i was a kid i used to get blank cassettes and tape songs i liked off the radio so i could listen to them whenever i wanted
i read about microsoft looking into changing the save icon because younger people dont know what a floppy disk is anymore
type 2 and IV cassettes actually sound pretty decent, my main beef with cassettes is when the player decides to 'eat' them and you gotta sit there with a pencil re-winding the damn tape back onto the spool... and sometimes it would eat the tape AGAIN![]()

you would hear peoples conversations or floors creaking when you played it back.

thats how public enemy made the original PE#1 single... two boomboxes. they called them 'pause tapes'Ya I would have two boom boxes
Everytime my fav radio show came on I would put the two boom boxes close to each other facing each other and record songs I liked.
Sometimes I would pick up the recording boom box and move it around to create my own remix live, like if I moved it back the bass and voice would be lower, and closer and it would record louder. That was my way of making remixes
Those boom boxes used to use those big ass batteries and sometimes they would have that white crust around them I think cause of acid leakage

because everything is a skit now. and also the youngest looking person in the video was the only one to figure it out. it doesnt make sense within the context OP framed it in. i would think someone with grey hair would know how to load a tape..Why would it be a skit?
Do you not have nieces or nephews?
