when homophobic apologies start happening...I dont even know...![]()
These nikkas saw what happened to Ross and don't want to let it get out of hand. But for Cole, being a fellow Dreamvillian, I think it was a busta ass move.
EM and tyler wont back down
Rap need more nikkas from the hood
What happened to the Cams,DMXs,Juelz,Styles-P,50 cent, etc. type nikkas
I cant get jiggy with these suburbanites![]()
So it was a busta move to apologize for unnecessarily making a mockery out of a mental handicap for the sake of a line that wasn't even hot?
I mean sometimes you say some ill shyt...and it may be off the wall, it may step over a line, but for one reason or another it makes sense/has a place or within the context of the record is just too spot on to worry about backlash...this wasn't the case, the line was wack, it didn't enhance anything, it stuck out like a sore thumb for all the wrong reasons.
It's only sticking out because of the so-called controversy. You think the line was wack, so you would have skipped over it anyway. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time J. Cole has mentioned retardation on a track.
There's really no difference...there's a bunch of people in the world with autism...just like there's a bunch of people that get murdered in senseless violence everyday (and families effected by said violence that are offended by references in music) ...rap songs aren't making people autistic anymore than they're directly causing murders...autism advocacy groups exist to catch feelings over random ass harmless rap lines, just like anti-violence advocates exist to be offended by rap for decades now...basically, this apologizing for lyrics shyt is getting comical now...j. cole's original apology made no fukking sense when he prefaced it with that first paragraph about how rap lyrics are essentially in the same ilk as comedy far as creative license goes...then Drake rushing in on some "you're not gonna out-sensitive me...I apologize TOO!" is borderline ridiculous...rappers should really just start apologizing for every song they make, or become gospel rappers at this point...but then also apologize to jews, muslims, buddhists and non-theists who may be offended by their gospel rhymes
Yea but ain't nobody leaning on him or trying to take his endorsements....he didn't have to apologize, HE WANTED TO...
Why are nikkas acting like he got forced into this? Rappers as artists have a choice to fall back on creative licence, they also have the choice to keep it moving all together, he chose to actually speak on this particularly instance all while acknowledging that some lines in rap music aren't meant to be offensive and shouldn't be sparking protests every time someone doesn't like something that is said. Unless you think this was politically motivated I don't see how you CAN'T respect it.
tyler??
He's a vocal proud self hatin c00n..that nikka is lost and needs to apologize to himself for hating his color
And eminem is a soulless cracka
So in conclusion..ur either a cracka or c00n
The end.
Goodnight![]()
