Camp Lo got slept on after Uptown Saturday Night. They dropped good albums in the 2000's that went way under the radar.

i know :mjcry:

i can still remember listenin' to the listening for the 1st time, i was drivin' up to maryland :wow:
I caught on to them late..I seen the video for Lovin It on MTV Jams & was blown away at the sound of that record with the sample getting a mainstream look..this was the summer when D4L Laffy Taffy, Young Joc Its Goin Down & other BS was blowing up & it was refreshing to hear something new at that time & that made me go back & check their other stuff
People complain about music now (which I agree some is terrible) but those mid 2000's were atrocious..I remember being in HS like ya'll like this shyt:what: (dont even ask me how with the Cosby smiley)

yeah, that mid 2000s was a very weird era of "hip hop" if you even wanna call it that

but yeah, i remember listening to little brother and be very surprised. they were a really good group

Yea they were..The game could really use them right now..Phonte fathered Drake's whole style:sas2: Pooh was getting better & 9th was in his prime
Its a poster on here who was inside their circle & knows some of the details on why they broke up but he was vague when discussing it (which I understand)
I just don't get how that happened..Unless somebody slept with somebody's wife or something fraudulent happened with the money/business its just crazy to think how something so good ended prematurely

yeah, it's just sad that their movement as a unit/group just ended too fast. we lost a chance at hearin' a lot more good music from those guys :mjcry:

decent decade in my book, main problem with it: it had to follow up the nineties which is GOAT

The Fix, Be, Hell Hath No Fury bumped the most probably and im not gonna lie now i enjoyed that shady aftermath wave... obie trice was close to a classic imo

1 mc who i really enjoyed listenin' to from that pocket of time was ludacris. he reminded more of redman in a way just not as raw. but he knew how to come with some witty lines and verses, make great songs and albums. he had a really good run durin' that era in time. them albums from word of mouf to the red light district were nice

chicken n beer is a classic. yeah, i said it :stopitslime:
luda had a great run..but he def started falling off after the red light district/DTP compilation albums
