I forget which cartoon I watched as a kid (I think Superman) where he threw some android/cyborg villain into the depths of the ocean... nikka was still alive but walking at the bottom of the sea because he was too heavy to swim.. Whales only dive down to about 3000 meters. Now we have made submarine dives down to into the Mariana Trench, 10,927m being the deepest. We found 4 new species of animals and human trash (plastic bags and candy wrappers).
