I work and downtown Oakland and we watch the hit cars every single day. They have a spotter that walks the block checking cars and a few minutes later their buddies drive up and hit the cars. This is in broad day light with folks all around. They even hit our parking garage and tell the attendant to mind his business. The worst was they had an officer park his rental in front of our job , gets bipped and he catches them in the act and they pistol whipped him at 11 am in the morning. It’s really the Wild West in the Bay Area

My friend has an a airbnb in oakland and said that one of his renter's cars got bipped and then they popped the trunk and took their luggage. They ended up canceling their trip and went back home afterwards. It's fukked up because on some street shyt, I understand losing the got caught slipping game, but to do this to everyday people that went the extra mile to put their stuff away in a grocery store parking lot is just some straight up loser shyt.

why are you so angry? I'm actually asking why the police don't bait these clown ass thieves. I'm asking if there's any legal issue getting in the way of catching thieves in that manner. :what:
