I disagree with this logic. If a person judges you based on another mans behavior do you think you will ever be able to live up to that persons expectations? Black people should not worry about living up to white peoples expectations, you never will because you aren't white.

honestly, if the right-wing conservative crowd wasn't so racist/scared of black people, they could've easily gotten the support of the hip hop community, especially in the early-mid 2000's when the G-Unit/thug era was poppin.

the typical rapper at that time was all about getting money by any means necessary, homophobic, misogynistic, pro-gun rights, pro-death penalty and religious when convenient. now that we're in the Drake/Kendrick era, the whole thug influence in hip hop has dwindled, so the conservatives missed out.

but yes, I've always noticed how similar a lot of rappers are to right-wingers. which is why I always found it ironic how much they beefed with one another

Not everything that is critical of an element of black culture is "racist". If anything this should be reality check. Our mainstream hip hop representatives largely reflect the behaviors and ethos of not our community and history, but right wing douchebags like Rush limbaugh who openly hate us in the first place.

This isnt racism, this is a challenge. If anything, the racism comes from the white record execs and sambos who oriented our music and culture completely away from the Public Enemy's and Africa Bambattas, to the Soulja Boys and trinidad james'. Want racism, start there.
