For those arguing about bs, the point is being a sports star isn't your only option. There's others things you can do in your life that take just a much skill if not more skill than sports. Don't limit yourself. Commercial could have went into careers like information systems, nursing, etc, but this was a great start imo.

He should not be one. Shouldn't even be an option. We dont need any more artists.

Please take a look at all the ethnic groups succeeding both domestically and internationally. How many of them are known for being artists? Is it the artists controlling the world? This is my issue with it.

Art is cool as a hobby, not a profession.
But is the point of the commercial even about controlling the world? It looks to me like it'd about you can be anything you want to be, even things you never thought about. If a black kid wants to be an artist when they grow up that's great, we just need to make sure they're kept aware of the realities of that life (really the realities of life for any profession).

Rap music and/or sports is how you market to the average black male.

Is this some new revelation or something?

But I agree 100% with the premise of this commercial.

If the NBA & NFL became majority CAC overnight, I wouldn't be mad.

I'm no longer impressed with blacks dominating being the "entertainment" of the world

I think the problem is we aren't disciplined. Anybody can become a rapper. Hell damn near anybody can become an athlete with the right coaches. It takes true discipline and brain power to excel at STEM, IT, or Medicine. We lack the discipline to sit down and do the work. But it's all definitely possible if we're willing to go through that.

Anybody can become an athlete? Really? That doesn’t take severe discipline and hard work? Oh wow anyone can be Lebron, I never knew.

Holy shyt this is a homerun of a commercial.

:banderas: Give the Proctor and Gamble marketing team a raise
This tells me they have Brothas in the room making the decisions or have great input minimum

Starts there

Hopefully he can spin off and do his own marketing firm if he hasn't already

I see the Bevel brand on there too. I think breh who sold to PnG had to have helped with this commercial too

This is a message black people should be sending to their kids and not wait for commercials to do it. I cringe when I hear people say sports or music are the only options they have in their hood.
You really hear that?
