INVADING SOHH CHAMPION
im not reading all 48 pages of this thread
but everyone I know making min wage past theirs 20s are the laziest people I know (personally).
I cant speak for other states, etc. but in California theirs an insane amount of entry level jobs that pay well and have benefits (tellers at banks, AT&T/Verizon reps in stores, etc.)
Whats stopping this lady from applying at Chase or Wells Fargo as a TELLER not even a BANKER but as a TELLER and getting $12-15 a hour and 30 hours a week ?
fukking helping people filling out forms for Kaiser requires only a high school degree (no college education or medical background required) and pays $22-30 a hour
None of these jobs require a college degree, trade school education or skill outside of smiling to be hired.
Have you ever looked at your friends who work min wage jobs resume? shyt is a jokeIf you were personally running a company you wouldnt hire them if you saw their resume either (just keeping it real). I notice not a lot of people look at this through the employer eyes though
mafukkas be having a resume with like 3 lines on it.
"Previous employment history:
I worked at McDonalds for 5 years"
the fukk ?
if they wrote something like this;
Previous employment history and description:
Trusted at my McDonalds branch to handle the cash register, help other employees out with their section and help clean up when store traffic was slow or before we closed. I was the "go-to" person to assist, train and aid everyone working around me, I take great pride in assisting others and making sure the job is done correct and efficiently.
they would get hired at better jobs within a few applications.. a nice resume is EVERYTHING when looking for a new job. But everyone just spams 1000 jobs on the same garbage resume and be like "no one will even call me back" where if they had a nice resume and applied to 10 jobs, they'd not only get a call back but probably an interview.
Keep believing thus resume writing lottery bullshyt.
Resume writing has not helped anyone since the fall of the internet and real talk,...
They need to go back to paper and the fax machine for job searches strictly.
As digital allows lazy hr people and insurance protocol to ruin the job market by not hiring anyone.
