But they can still fair better than no degree at all.

Especially single moms. I have a child and it’s because of both my degrees that I’m able to provide very well for my son, I also get child support, but the beauty is that again because of my degrees I could still take care of my son very well without it. I think the last time I made $7.50 was in undergrad at a summer job. I can’t even imagine what that’s like. I definitely do not regret getting my degrees, Lord Jesus.

Yes indeed!!! I didn’t even have my undergrad when I was pregnant and got laid off at 8 months from a company that went bankrupt. I couldn’t even get in the door.

Finished up my credits and got my degree a year later and had so much more opportunity. I’m finishing up my Masters in 16 weeks and I can’t wait to start applying for the next level. Forget struggling. I did that and don’t want to again.

When nikkas was putting in work in HS and college what exactly was she doing?

Made sacrifices by choosing to go to a library or gym and bet on myself.....she can do it too

How did she get pregnant if that's all nikkas was doing?:comeon:

All of that don’t mean shyt. There’s plenty of brehs and brehnettes out there with college degrees and certs but still can’t land a job because of discrimination.
THERE ARE PLENTY MORE WHO GOT JOBS THOUGH

EVEN IF shyt ISN'T FAIR YOU HAVE TO GIVE YOURSELF THE BEST CHANCES

I'm not talking a 4 year University.

If you go to an in state community college Pell Grant can easily cover that. You get $6000/year or $3000/semester. Apply for scholarships and she can get a 2 year degree for free

Edit: didn't read you post thoroughly.

It takes a lot to fall off.

It doesn't take a lot to fall off. Her BD ain't around. Pretty sure he wouldn't do much of shyt if he wasn't locked up. Not sure about her family but they need their funds. 7.50 ain't going nowhere with baby expenses. She'd likely fail out or have to drop classes and Pell grant is gone. At 7.50 with a baby and little to no family support, she not going back to school.

People love to give cookie cutter solutions to one individuals non cookie cutter problems

People want it both ways, they want to help the sob story but not trying to hear about how she dug herself into the hole.

America is full of people literally diving head first into poverty.

Welding, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, etc. All will pay enough for her to afford child care.
But how long can she do that for until her body can’t take it anymore? What’s the long term plan
